Expertise

Currently, I work as the legal adviser for several major companies.
Between 2002 and 2006 I headed the competition and media law practice and co-headed the corporate law practice for Allen & Overy’s Budapest Office.
My fields of specialization are: corporate law, competition law, labour law and media and telecommunications law. I have obtained significant experience in litigation and arbitration procedures and negotiating inter-corporate agreements.
In 2000 I spent more than six months at the Corporate and Communication, Media and Telecommunication Department of Allen & Overy’s London Office.
Between 1997 and 2002 I worked for Allen & Overy as Hungarian attorney-at-law and advised on several corporate law, litigation and arbitration, employment and labour cases, competition and M&A deals, and on licensing, regulation, re-structuring and outsourcing issues for the following business groups: ICN, Abbott, RTL, News, MTG, CIT, STER, BT and KPN. During my activity I prepared several contracts that supported the clients’ daily operation and also participated in the negotiation process thereof. Furthermore, I contributed significantly to the privatization process of several Hungarian companies and also took part in numerous investment transactions as representative of several foreign and national companies.
I completed the bar exam and got registered with the Budapest Bar Association in 1996. I joined Allen & Overy on 1st May, 1997 prior to which I had worked for Dolf and Partners Law Firm for three years, initially as apprentice attorney, later as attorney-at-law. During my activity I advised on several corporate law and employment law cases and I have obtained significant experience and skills in litigation.
